The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Arby fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Arby persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lee (0) vs (2) Arby
Arby seems to be looking for submissions.

Lee is looking for a triangle but Arby pushes his legs off easily.
Arby drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Arby has Lee in his guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Lee (4) vs (10) Arby

Lee content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Arby has locked up a guillotine! Arby's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Lee is holding on here and Arby must be using up a lot of energy. Lee has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Arby gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
