Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Winston Todd (ranked 158 p4p, 259 weight class) and James Kirk (ranked 20 p4p, 34 weight class). Todd kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Piano Man. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Todd was well out of range. Poor timing from Kirk.
Todd was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Kirk just misses with a punch to the body.
Kirk scores with a hook to the body. Todd takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Todd has been working on his boxing with his coaches at GWad's Playpen in the buildup to the fight.
Todd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Todd uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kirk.
Todd takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kirk avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Nice defenses there by Todd.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kirk.
Todd throws a quick counter head kick but Kirk was just out of range.
James Kirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Todd. Kirk does a little dance to reset his feet.

Kirk has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Todd is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Todd cracks Kirk with an open hand slap.

Both fighters circling a little - Todd finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Todd cracks Kirk with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kirk looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Todd finish him?

It looks like James Kirk has been cut.
Kirk is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Todd.
Todd looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

Todd circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kirk drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Todd follows Kirk to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Winston Todd!
Winston Todd bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
