Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Salvacion (ranked 23456 p4p, 6854 weight class) and Poison Ivy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poison Ivy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 21 - 1, fighting out of New York, Bruno Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Poison Ivy!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ivy avoids it really well and circles away.
Ivy counters with a body kick.
Salvacion is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ivy's half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivy tries to kick Salvacion off but Salvacion keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ivy sprawls well. Ivy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Salvacion gets slowly back to his feet.

Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up with Ivy, looking for a takedown. Salvacion pushes Ivy against the cage but Ivy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Ivy.
Ivy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Salvacion swivels and escapes.
A quick step to the side and Salvacion tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Salvacion shoots in but Ivy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ivy follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Salvacion stuffs the takedown.
Ivy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Salvacion is trying to defend but Ivy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Salvacion wants to control but Ivy is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Poison Ivy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Salvacion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ivy tries to avoid it but Salvacion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ivy to the ground. Ivy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Poison Ivy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ivy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
