Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andriy Voronin (ranked 378 p4p, 870 weight class) and Leyte Gulf (ranked 56 p4p, 135 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Voronin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Katyusha. Gulf has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voronin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Gulf can pounce on him.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Voronin checks a leg kick.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Voronin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gulf has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gulf and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Leyte Gulf decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
