Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between charlie bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bishop's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Too Many Men.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, charlie bishop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Micky Ray! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! bishop lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ray circles away quickly and effectively. Ray tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but bishop swivels and escapes. bishop fails to land the takedown. Ray rushes bishop and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ray stops a takedown attempt from bishop.
bishop is looking to break free of the clinch but Ray has double underhooks. Ray drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ray prevents bishop from breaking the clinch. bishop tries to break the clinch but Ray is controlling the position. bishop stops a takedown attempt from Ray.
charlie bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micky Ray. bishop has had enough of the clinch but Ray keeps him there for the moment. bishop wants to get back to striking at distance but Ray won't allow it.
bishop breaks the clinch.
Ray shoots in and bounces bishop off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. bishop working for a triangle but Ray defends it easily.
Ray tries to free his leg and advance position but bishop is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Ray's corner is telling him to maintain position. bishop is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ray slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ray trying to control but bishop is working from the bottom. Ray thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. bishop working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ray doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ray manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. bishop is breathing heavily. bishop keeping full guard, as Ray tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ray advances position into side control! The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. bishop is looking to reverse the position. Ray decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ray lands a head shot. Ray darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ray wants to lay and pray for a moment but bishop keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Ray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with bishop. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ray is nestled in close to bishop, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. bishop is looking to improve his position.
Ray drops an elbow to the side of bishop's head. Ray is working for a submission of some sort.
Ray decides to stand and escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ray clinches with his opponent.
bishop on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ray goes for a takedown attempt but bishop pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ray darts in and clinches bishop up against the cage. Ray decides to pull guard. Ray looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ray lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for bishop! Ray tries to control but bishop wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micky Ray dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ray scores with a takedown into bishop's guard. bishop lands a good elbow from the bottom. Ray trying to control the position from guard on top but bishop is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ray pushing down on bishop's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Ray trying to control from half guard but bishop is working away. bishop looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ray stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ray has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ray gets control of bishop's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ray will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. bishop stops Ray from standing up. Ray looking to hit a scissor sweep but bishop is one step ahead there. Ray working for a triangle but bishop defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. bishop thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. bishop drops back looking for a leg! Ray is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ray manages to kick bishop off! bishop jumps back into Ray's guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ray tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but bishop swivels and escapes. Ray fails with the takedown. bishop swinging wilding here.
Ray closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ray escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ray shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ray was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Micky Ray has got the better of the ground game so far. Ray can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as bishop is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. bishop throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. A nice elbow there by Ray. Ray wants to finish this one by submission but bishop is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ray. Ray is working for a guillotine from mount but bishop frees his head quite easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ray has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of bishop's face.
Ray controlling his opponent. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ray cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Ray manages to capitalize on a mistake by bishop to take his back! Ray is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but bishop has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Ray is looking for a choke. bishop gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. bishop manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micky Ray showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! bishop's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ray is trying to control the position but bishop postures up. bishop stands up from Ray's guard - bishop perhaps looking for a knockout. Ray clinches. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Ray successfully pulls guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray wants to stand and escape but bishop is having none of it. Ray is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Nice move by Ray! bishop is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Ray stands up from bishop's guard - Ray perhaps looking for a knockout. Ray shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says bishop as he avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from bishop.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Ray scores with a takedown into bishop's guard. bishop preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. bishop looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
bishop is looking for a triangle but Ray pushes his legs off easily.
bishop not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Ray wants to control from the top but bishop keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. bishop avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. bishop doesn't succeed with the takedown and Ray counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ray. bishop has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Ray controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ray gets to his feet - bishop follows without any prompting. Ray gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. bishop tries to avoid it but Ray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag bishop to the ground. bishop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ray shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. charlie bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Micky Ray. bishop changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ray tries to avoid it but bishop manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ray to the ground. Ray escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ray looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. charlie bishop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ray throws a nice head kick!
Ray is looking to clinch but bishop is avoiding it.
Ray moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. bishop keeps the fight on the outside. bishop fails with a takedown attempt from distance. charlie bishop is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ray digs a good hook to bishop's body.
Ray has managed to clinch.
Ray changes levels and goes for a takedown here. bishop fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ray throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around bishop's waist but bishop gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ray off to one side. charlie bishop has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Micky Ray is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ray shoots in looking for a takedown. bishop tries to sprawl out of it but Ray keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. bishop manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that's the end of the fight! Micky Ray comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ray winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
