Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Best!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Muhammad Arslan!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arslan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Best, pushing him back against the cage.
Stalling in the clinch from Best.

Arslan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Arslan has Best up against the cage in a clinch.
Arslan displaying some good clinch control by pressing Best up against the cage.

Arslan manages to break the clinch.
Best throws a head kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Best tries a head kick but it misses.
Arslan is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Arslan swats away the attempt to clinch by Best.
Arslan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Best was well out of range. Poor timing from Arslan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Arslan throws a nice looking combination but Best bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Best enables Arslan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Best manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Best looking to control but Arslan passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Best is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Arslan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Arslan's back!
Best knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Arslan on the ground.
Best has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Arslan's body.
Best gets his hands free as Arslan looks to control.
Best somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Best is not going to allow Arslan to sit and survive in this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Best wants to control but Arslan is keeping busy.
Arslan breaks Best's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Arslan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Best is trying to control the position but Arslan postures up.
Arslan works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Arslan is trying for a kimura here. Best looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Arslan wins by kimura!
