And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Dea!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dea dives in for a single leg takedown but Jenkins sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jenkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dea swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jenkins keeps the fight on the outside.
Jenkins throws a front kick that sends Dea stumbling back into the cage.
Dea looks to clinch
and Jenkins counters with a thumping low kick.
Dea shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dea shoots in but no luck this time.
And Jenkins counters with a quick kick to the body but Dea blocks it.
Richard Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Dea.

Jenkins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dea wants to improve his position but Jenkins is controlling well.

Jenkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dea circles away quickly and effectively.

As Dea looks to move away, Jenkins throws a big counter combo but Dea just gets out of the way.
Jenkins tries to clinch up but Dea circles away and keeps his distance.
Jenkins really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dea throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Dea wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jenkins trying to control but Dea is working from the bottom.

Jenkins is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dea is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dea has escaped and now he's on top!

Dea in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Richard Jenkins will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Dea changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jenkins tries to avoid it but Dea manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jenkins to the ground. Jenkins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jenkins shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dea manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Dea is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Dea manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Dea misses with a punch to the body.
Dea will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jenkins up against the cage.

Dea manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dea has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Jenkins has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Jenkins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dea will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dea darts in looking for a takedown but Jenkins gets double underhooks and turns Dea into the cage.
Dea takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jenkins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Jenkins shoots in looking for a takedown but Dea manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jenkins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Dea shoots in for a double leg but Jenkins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jenkins lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dea will feel that in the morning.
Jenkins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dea throws out a counter right but Jenkins avoids it with no problem.

James Dea comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
