Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jenerick Montgomery (ranked 2421 p4p, 2382 weight class) and Cillian Murphy (ranked 338 p4p, 332 weight class). Murphy has chosen Undead as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Montgomery 's guard.
Murphy looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Murphy is looking to stand up but Montgomery won't let him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Murphy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Montgomery manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Murphy has Montgomery in his guard.

Cillian Murphy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Montgomery tries to work over Murphy's front leg with a kick but Murphy checks it.
Montgomery fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Murphy on the side of the head.
Montgomery throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Murphy scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Montgomery cracks Murphy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Murphy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Murphy escapes and gets back to his feet.
Murphy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Murphy counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick by Montgomery misses
and Murphy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Montgomery is rocked!
Murphy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Murphy lands in his opponent's guard.
Oh Montgomery is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Montgomery stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murphy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Montgomery postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Murphy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Montgomery , into his guard.
Murphy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that's the end of the fight!
Cillian Murphy comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Murphy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
