PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Douglas Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penny has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Douglas Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Penny to the mat! Penny manages to get full guard.
Penny is breathing heavily.
Brown is pushing down on Penny 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Penny is fighting to maintain full guard but Brown has managed to sneak the leg through.

Brown seems to be looking for submissions.
Brown is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Penny !
Brown controlling the pace for now.

Brown is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Penny is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Penny flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Brown anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Penny and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Brown slips an arm under Penny chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Brown has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Brown is squeezing on Penny like an anaconda would it's prey. Penny fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
