Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ludwig Lachmann (ranked 843 p4p, 741 weight class) and Wesley Janssen (ranked 124 p4p, 110 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Wesley Janssen enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ludwig Lachmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wesley Janssen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Janssen counters with a single leg into guard. Lachmann didn't expect that.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Janssen's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Lachmann has his foot on Janssen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Janssen works his way back into a safe position though.
Janssen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lachmann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Janssen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lachmann definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Lachmann working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Janssen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Janssen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Lachmann has momentary wrist control but Janssen slips an elbow through the middle.
Lachmann controls Janssen momentarily but Janssen frees himself.

Janssen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lachmann has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Janssen has managed to get both his arms back between Lachmann's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Janssen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lachmann manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Janssen has Lachmann in his guard.

Lachmann has hold of Janssen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Janssen seems comfortable defending it but Lachmann has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Janssen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Janssen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lachmann couldn't care less - he's delighted!
