Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mikeye Kun (ranked 4708 p4p, 5105 weight class) and Matteus Cili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cili closes the distance and clinches.
Cili misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kun.
Cili on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Cili gets control of Kun's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cili will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Cili avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kun trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Cili tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kun knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cili on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cili is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cili passes into side control, despite Kun's attempt to control the position.
Kun wants to get back to his feet but Cili drags him back down.
Cili is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kun's shoulder. That is not cool.

Cili working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Cili lands a few punches from side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Kun can't do much from the bottom here.
Cili is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kun will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Cili is putting a hurting on Kun here, landing some big shots from side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kun wants to control but Cili postures up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cili wants to stand but Kun is controlling his arm.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Kun is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cili fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kun sprawls well initially but Cili persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Kun makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Kun ducks under a wild hook from Cili.
Kun went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cili has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Cili moves into range and clinches up with Kun.

Cili jumps guard and drags Kun to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Matteus Cili dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Cili shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cili showed some decent athleticism there.
Cili is pressing down on Kun's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kun is holding on for now.
Cili not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Well, if Cili is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Cili's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Kun pushes Cili off looking to stand but Cili dives back in and keeps control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Kun throws a body kick that misses.
Kun throws a push kick but Cili slaps the foot to one side.
Kun lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Cili misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Cili counters with a two punch combo.
Cili shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kun but Kun pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kun tries to clinch up but Cili circles away and keeps his distance.
Cili fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kun closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kun wants to get back to striking at distance but Cili won't allow it.
Kun is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Mikeye Kun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matteus Cili.

Cili is breathing heavily.
Cili tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kun breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kun buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Cili rushes Kun and presses him up against the cage.
Kun tries to break the clinch but Cili is controlling the position.
Cili tries to pull guard but Kun holds him up against the cage and eventually Cili drops back down to his feet.

Cili changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kun fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kun shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cili sprawls well. Cili wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kun gets slowly back to his feet.
Kun sets himself, and Cili steps forward looking for the clinch! Kun avoids it this time.
Kun shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cili as he jumps to the side.
Cili tries a quick counter leg kick but Kun is wise to it.

Kun wants to pass to mount but Cili is defending the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cili is trying to maintain the position but Kun is very close to passing his half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mikeye Kun will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Kun shoots in for a takedown but Cili shows good takedown defense.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kun. That's going to slow Cili down.
Cili misses with a wild combination.
Cili takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Matteus Cili has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kun controls Cili momentarily but Cili frees himself.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kun is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cili tries to stand but Kun is controlling from the bottom.

Kun is trying to keep Cili in close.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cili passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Kun tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cili wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Cili controls the position from side control.
Cili has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cili keeps the fight on the outside.

Cili moves into the clinch.

Cili manages to pull guard.
Kun stops Cili from standing up.
Kun looking to sit in guard and control but Cili gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kun is trying to control the position but Cili postures up.

Matteus Cili comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Cili has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
