The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nine shoots in and gets a takedown into Five's guard. Nine controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nine sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Five's guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nine connects with a nice short shot to Five's temple. Nine is controlling the pace.
Nine scores with a couple of good hammerfists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nine scoring with strikes to the body and head. Nine maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Five could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Nine has cracked it and Five is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Nine!
