The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neckbeard throws a nice head kick!
Marmot looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Neckbeard closes the distance and clinches.
Marmot gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Neckbeard.
Neckbeard scores a nice knee to the body.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Neckbeard takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Marmot is trying to break the clinch but Neckbeard has him pressed against the cage.

Neckbeard creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Marmot 's defenses.

Neckbeard breaks the clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Marmot has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Marmot tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Neckbeard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Marmot darts in looking for a takedown but Neckbeard gets double underhooks and turns Marmot into the cage.
Neckbeard steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Marmot .

Neckbeard jumps into guard, dragging Marmot to the mat.
Neckbeard wants to stand and escape but Marmot is having none of it.

Neckbeard manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Marmot fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Neckbeard avoids it really well and circles away.

Neckbeard shoots in looking for a takedown. Marmot tries to sprawl out of it but Neckbeard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marmot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Marmot has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Neckbeard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
