Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Apostolos Angelopoulos (ranked 3902 p4p, 5779 weight class) and Jeff Hecker Jr (ranked 451 p4p, 529 weight class). Apostolos Angelopoulos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Apostolos Angelopoulos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Hecker Jr!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hecker Jr tries for a takedown but Angelopoulos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Angelopoulos throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hecker Jr looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Angelopoulos is fending him off so far but Hecker Jr persists. Nope, Angelopoulos circles away and we're back to standing.
Angelopoulos is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hecker Jr.
Apostolos Angelopoulos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeff Hecker Jr.
Angelopoulos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Hecker Jr is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Angelopoulos has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hecker Jr is looking to defend but Angelopoulos has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hecker Jr! Angelopoulos pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hecker Jr taps out and this one is all over!
