Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega lands a slapping body shot.
Ortega misses the shot to the body.
Xpto looks for a takedown but Ortega sprawls well.
A countering left hand to the body from Ortega misses.
Xpto with a poor takedown
and Ortega counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Xpto thinking.
Xpto has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rabid Dog in the buildup to the fight.
Ortega jabs Xpto to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Xpto fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xpto Xpto. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ortega lands a nice looking body shot.
Phillip Ortega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Xpto takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Xpto tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ortega sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Xpto somewhat.
Ortega looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ortega throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Xpto stumbling backwards into the cage! Xpto bounces back off the cage towards Ortega, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Ortega lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Ortega celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
