Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kim Jong Un (ranked 6340 p4p, 6567 weight class) and Solo Aca (ranked 588 p4p, 601 weight class). Jong Un comes to the cage accompanied by North Korean Anthem . Kim Jong Un had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aca tries to sprawl but Jong Un drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Jong Un seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Aca does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Jong Un is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jong Un trying to pass the guard but Aca defending well.

Aca is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jong Un pulls his head out easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jong Un is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Aca still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Aca has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Aca is looking to take a break and control but Jong Un is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Aca has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Jong Un feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jong Un closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jong Un lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Kim Jong Un will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jong Un changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aca looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jong Un is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Aca. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped.

Jong Un is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Aca knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Aca for a finish.

Aca is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jong Un is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Jong Un is not going to allow Aca to sit and survive in this position.

Jong Un is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Aca is defending well though. Jong Un let's go of the attempt for now.

Jong Un is looking for a sweep. Aca is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Aca seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Aca is pressing down on Jong Un's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jong Un is holding on for now.
Jong Un is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Aca can do to turn this around?

Jong Un has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Aca gets to his feet. Jong Un looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Jong Un tries to close the distance and clinch up but Aca swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Aca shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Aca fails with the takedown.
Jong Un seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Aca takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Jong Un defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aca.
Kim Jong Un has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solo Aca.

Jong Un closes the distance and clinches.
Jong Un is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Aca to keep the fight standing.

Jong Un has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Aca uses from the top position.

Jong Un pushes Aca off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Aca fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jong Un, pushing him back against the cage.
Jong Un jumps guard but Aca stands there with Jong Un around his waist. Jong Un gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jong Un is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Aca pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Aca gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jong Un has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Aca should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jong Un has tightened it up now! Aca should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
