Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Dalio (ranked 2975 p4p, 2217 weight class) and Nate Noitez (ranked 356 p4p, 276 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ray Dalio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nate Noitez! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dalio changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Noitez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Dalio is looking to take a break and control but Noitez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dalio tries to move into full mount but can't pass Noitez's legs. Noitez is not content to let Dalio control the position. Noitez is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Dalio stalls from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noitez struggling a bit here. Noitez gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Dalio looking to control and managing it successfully. Noitez tries to hold on but Dalio postures up. Dalio with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Noitez is squirming around, avoiding Dalio's attempts to control the action. Dalio wants to take his opponent's back but Noitez doesn't allow it. Noitez working to try and regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalio mounts Noitez! Really nice guard pass there! Dalio takes Noitez's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Noitez is in trouble. Dalio tightening his grip on Noitez, looking for the choke. Dalio looking for the choke from the back. Noitez fending off the submission attempt from Dalio. Noitez is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dalio looking for the RNC. Dalio has the hooks in. Noitez is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dalio is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Noitez has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Dalio has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Noitez taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Dalio doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ray Dalio!
