Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ BALLSACK (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speck Trum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). BJ BALLSACK has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, BJ BALLSACK! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Speck Trum! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Trum. Trum is looking to take this fight into the clinch. BALLSACK has a takedown stuffed. Trum rushes BALLSACK and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Trum pulls guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trum is looking for a triangle but BALLSACK pushes his legs off easily.
BALLSACK throws a big right hand that misses. BALLSACK is looking to work some ground and pound but Trum has wrist control. Trum seems keen to control BALLSACK's posture. BALLSACK missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. BALLSACK will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Trum throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. BALLSACK distracts Trum with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Trum wants to sweep here but BALLSACK controlling him for the moment. Trum has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Trum bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in BALLSACK's guard. BALLSACK trying to strike off his back.
BALLSACK lands a good elbow from the bottom. BALLSACK throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Trum wants to control from the top but BALLSACK keeps moving. BALLSACK trying to strike off his back.
BALLSACK looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Trum pushes down on BALLSACK's leg and manages to get into half guard. BALLSACK is looking to improve his position.
Trum is working for a kimura but BALLSACK is defending it quite comfortably.
That's two minutes gone in the round. BALLSACK is defending against the submission attempts here by Trum.
BALLSACK really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Trum looks gassed! BALLSACK misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Trum trying to control from half guard but BALLSACK is working away. Trum looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks BALLSACK with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Trum blocks the strikes from BALLSACK.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Trum tries to clinch up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trum throws a low kick, looking for BALLSACK's leg but BALLSACK calmly moves out of range. BALLSACK slips under a jab from Trum. Trum shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts BALLSACK as he jumps to the side. Trum is looking to clinch but BALLSACK is avoiding it.
BALLSACK misses with a takedown attempt and Trum counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Trum drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. BALLSACK is working to avoid the ground and pound but Trum connects with a decent elbow. Trum tries for a kimura but BALLSACK is defending well. BALLSACK scores with a shot to the body.
BALLSACK is looking to reverse the position. BALLSACK misses with an elbow from the bottom. Trum grinds an elbow into BALLSACK's temple. BALLSACK tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! BALLSACK is looking to reverse the position. BALLSACK is letting Trum control him for a moment. Trum tries for a kimura but BALLSACK is defending well. BALLSACK connects with an elbow from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Speck Trum dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
BALLSACK doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trum counters with a stiff right hand. Trum misses with a looping left. Trum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Trum bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trum blocks the strikes from BALLSACK.
BALLSACK is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Trum looks up at the clock and then as BALLSACK takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Trum smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trum trying to control the action but BALLSACK is working from the bottom. BALLSACK takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Trum is working BALLSACK over with some ground and pound from side control. Trum working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Check out the look on Trum's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
BALLSACK throws a couple of strikes there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. BALLSACK is looking to regain half guard here but Trum keeps moving and retains side control. Trum is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. BALLSACK is trying to escape and Trum transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and BALLSACK is forced to tap! Nice work there by Trum! Very nice indeed!
