Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juraj Divisek (ranked 80 p4p, 331 weight class) and Dylan Peterson (ranked 14 p4p, 49 weight class). Juraj Divisek is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juraj Divisek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Peterson! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Divisek counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Divisek. Divisek lands a nice shot to the body. Divisek misses with a knee strike.

A short right from Divisek on the inside. Peterson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Divisek wants to control but Peterson is keeping busy and won't allow it. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Peterson connects with a nice short shot to Divisek's temple. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Peterson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Divisek circles away quickly and effectively.

Peterson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Peterson showed some decent athleticism there. Peterson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dylan Peterson dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Peterson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Divisek as he jumps to the side. Divisek tries to counter by clinching up but Peterson breaks away and moves out of range. Peterson lands with a nice body punch. Divisek tries to clinch up but Peterson circles away and keeps his distance. Peterson throws a counter combo. Peterson lands an overhand right. We've been told by Divisek's head coaches at Underground Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Peterson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Divisek! Peterson working the strikes but Divisek uses the opportunity to regain half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson wants to advance to full mount but Divisek doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Peterson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peterson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson misses with a straight right. Peterson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Divisek. Divisek throws a lazy right hand but Peterson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Peterson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Divisek counters by moving into the clinch. Divisek swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Peterson gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Divisek has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Peterson is on him like a limpet, forcing Divisek back against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peterson goes for a takedown attempt but Divisek pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice straight punches there by Peterson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Peterson. Divisek moves forwards but Peterson connects with a nice, crisp jab. Dylan Peterson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Divisek gets caught napping as Peterson dives in and scores a takedown. Divisek manages to retain guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Divisek manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Juraj Divisek showed his dominance in that final round. I think Peterson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
