Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Lemieux (ranked 996 p4p, 1481 weight class) and Desi Kraag (ranked 134 p4p, 190 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Lemieux!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Desi Kraag!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kraag stuns Lemieux with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lemieux lands with a cross.
Lemieux has Kraag up against the cage in a clinch.
Kraag looking for a takedown.
Kraag is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lemieux pulls him back up using the underhooks.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Lemieux.
Kraag tries to break free but Lemieux pushes him back against the cage.
Lemieux has a couple of punches blocked by Kraag.
Kraag pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lemieux scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kraag doesn't seem bothered though.
Kraag ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lemieux moves away.
Lemieux tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kraag manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kraag moves out of range of the strikes.
Kraag ducks under a wild hook from Lemieux.
Lemieux throws a body punch but Kraag moves out of range.
Kraag misses the shot to the body.
Lemieux misses with a straight left.
Lemieux jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lemieux darts in and clinches Kraag up against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Lemieux.
Kraag is trying to break free.
I was talking to Lemieux's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kraag has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kraag wants a takedown but no success here.
Vincent Lemieux has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Desi Kraag.
Lemieux pushes Kraag back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kraag tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kraag looks winded!
Kraag escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lemieux jabs Kraag right on the nose. Kraag blinks but takes it well.
Lemieux cracks Kraag with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lemieux has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kraag to stand back up!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lemieux rushes Kraag and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kraag breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kraag ducks under a wild hook from Lemieux.
Lemieux fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kraag throws a body shot but no joy.
Kraag looks to score with a jab to the body but Lemieux is just out of range.
Kraag misses with a body punch
and Lemieux scores with a counter punch that sends Kraag to the canvas! Lemieux smells blood - he's punishing Kraag with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kraag has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vincent Lemieux!
