Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sho Pereyra (ranked 2797 p4p, 4326 weight class) and Jean Labosky (ranked 275 p4p, 386 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sho Pereyra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 54 - 1, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereyra tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice leg kick from Labosky, right into the meat of the thigh.
A head kick from Labosky lands but Pereyra takes it in his stride.
Pereyra takes a swing at Labosky's ribcage but misses.
Labosky lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Pereyra throws a body shot but no joy.

Pereyra tries to work over Labosky's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Labosky jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Pereyra walks away with a smile on his face. Labosky gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Labosky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pereyra.

Pereyra is fighting off a takedown attempt but Labosky is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pereyra to the mat. Pereyra regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Well Labosky has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
