Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andrew Nichols!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martens tries to score with a low kick but Nichols moves his leg out of the way.
Martens tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Nichols counters with a nice low kick that buckles Martens's knee momentarily.
Nichols blocks the body kick.
Nichols just misses with a punch to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Martens looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nichols plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Nichols does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Nichols connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Martens momentarily.
Martens shoots for a double leg takedown but Nichols sprawls well. He's pushed Martens's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Alex Martens has been cut.
Nichols working the clinch nicely. Martens is working for position but Nichols cracks him with a big knee to the head! Martens crumples up against the cage and Nichols lands two more shots before the ref can save Martens! This one is all over!
