Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Spite (ranked 1036 p4p, 1234 weight class) and Lord Mammon (ranked 155 p4p, 178 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mammon has Spite up against the cage in a clinch.
Spite blocks an uppercut.
Mammon misses with a hook from the clinch.
Spite taking a breather.
Mammon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Spite cracks Mammon with a nice body shot.
Mammon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mammon can't find room to land a body shot as Spite controls the action.
Spite fails to pull guard.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mammon.
Spite gets through Mammon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A shot in the inside from Mammon.
Spite blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mammon lands a left hand that snaps the head of Spite backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Spite blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mammon.
Spite trying to control the position but instead, Mammon has worked for underhooks and has pushed Spite into the cage.
Mammon tries to throw a body punch but Spite avoids it by throwing Mammon back against the cage.

Spite pulls Mammon into guard.

Mammon stands up from Spite's guard - Mammon perhaps looking for a knockout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Spite misses with a short punch on the inside.
Mammon tries a body shot but Spite blocks it.
Spite blocks an uppercut.
We've been hearing reports that Spite has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A short body shot lands from Spite as the two fighters clinch.
Mammon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mammon fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Spite blocking some punches.
A head punch on the inside from Mammon fails to land.
Spite is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Mammon swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mammon misses with the head strike.
Spite will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mammon up against the cage.
Mammon has a couple of punches blocked by Spite.
Mammon misses with some punches.
Mammon blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Mammon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Spite jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mammon walks away with a smile on his face. Spite gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Spite closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mammon did well to prevent Spite getting side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Spite is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mammon is just riding it out for now. Spite eventually gives up the hold.
Spite trying to mount his opponent but Mammon defends it.

Spite stops Mammon from getting back to his feet.

Spite is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mammon is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A relieved looking Nicky Spite thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
