Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daaniel Teteny (ranked 2809 p4p, 4281 weight class) and Danilo Hooper (ranked 394 p4p, 546 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Danilo Hooper was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hooper lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Daaniel Teteny has been cut.
Teteny shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hooper lands a right hook to the body.

Hooper clinches up with Teteny and pushes him back against the cage.

Hooper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hooper closes the distance and pushes Teteny back into the cage.
Hooper prevents a takedown attempt there.
Teteny is trying to drag Hooper to the mat but Hooper just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daaniel Teteny. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hooper lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Hooper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hooper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Teteny utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hooper decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Teteny, up you get!
Hooper keeps the fight on the outside.
Hooper looks to land a combination but Teteny avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Hooper shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Teteny is on queer street and Hooper is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
