Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cayden Abner (ranked 801 p4p, 2150 weight class) and Harold Kerzner (ranked 115 p4p, 295 weight class). Abner comes to the cage accompanied by Bulls On Parade. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cayden Abner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harold Kerzner! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abner scores with a kick to the midsection. Abner throws a body punch but Kerzner moves out of range. Abner cracks a nice hook into Kerzner's ribs. Kerzner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Abner. Abner is looking to slow Kerzner down with leg kicks. Abner tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. It seemed like Kerzner was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Abner cracks Kerzner with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kerzner looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Abner finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Abner misses with a low kick.
Kerzner throws a jab but it's blocked by Abner. Abner throws a poor cross that misses
and Kerzner counters with a one-two to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kerzner misses with an uppercut. Good work by Kerzner as he checks the leg kick. Kerzner throws out a loose jab but Abner uses good head movement to avoid it. Abner uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kerzner. Kerzner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Abner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Abner throws the kick towards the body but Kerzner avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abner misses with a lunging right hand
and Kerzner counters with a takedown into side control. Abner tries to buck Kerzner off but Kerzner is having none of it. Abner gets back to half guard. Abner looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Abner wants to improve his position but Kerzner is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Abner misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Abner is not content to let Kerzner control the position. Abner is defending against the submission attempts here by Kerzner.
Kerzner looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerzner not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kerzner is looking to advance position but Abner won't allow it. Abner is pressing down on Kerzner's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kerzner wants to control from the top but Abner keeps moving. Kerzner got a little sloppy there for a moment and Abner has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kerzner has managed to get both his arms back between Abner's legs - danger averted. Kerzner trying to control the position from guard on top but Abner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Abner has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kerzner doesn't defend quickly enough and Abner has managed to lock this one up! Can Kerzner escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Abner on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Cayden Abner! After the fight, Cayden Abner was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
