Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to clinch up but Rogers circles away and keeps his distance.
Lee tries for a takedown but Rogers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
The fighters circling - Lee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Rogers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lee attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Rogers's shoulder, as Rogers tries to avoid the shot.
Lee throws a body kick that misses.

Rogers shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard.

Rogers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lee striking off his back but it's not causing Rogers any problems.
Lee throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Rogers trying to control but Lee is working from the bottom.
Rogers wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.

Rogers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Rogers is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lee throws a series of punches but Rogers moves out of range.
Lee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rogers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Rogers swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Rogers slips the punch.
Lee is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lee swings for the body but Rogers moves out of range.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Rogers pushes him off.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lee scores with a sloppy right hand. Rogers should have avoided that one.
Lee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rogers defending well as Lee loads up on a big left hand.
Lee is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Lee's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Rogers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lee is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Rogers pulls his head out easily.
Lee is breathing heavily.

Rogers is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Lee to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Rogers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rogers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rogers decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lee to his feet.

and Rogers counters with a single leg into guard. Lee didn't expect that.
Rogers pushes down on Lee's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Rogers is looking to advance position but Lee won't allow it.
Rogers wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.

Rogers is working for a submission of some sort.

Lee actively working from the bottom here.

Rogers is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Rogers stops Lee from getting back to his feet.
Rogers works his way into side control.

Rogers is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lee has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lee is not content to let Rogers control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lee tries to clinch

and Rogers counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Lee's guard now.

Lee wants to get back to his feet but Rogers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Lee has momentary wrist control but Rogers slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Rogers drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Rogers off! Rogers jumps back into Lee's guard.
Rogers working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Lee's head.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Rogers's shoulder, as Rogers tries to avoid the shot.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rogers with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Rogers drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!
Lee misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Rogers slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Rogers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Rogers had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lee is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rogers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lee's back instead.
Rogers is not going to allow Lee to sit and survive in this position.

Rogers has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Lee has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Rogers is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lee knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lee for a finish.
I really don't envy Lee right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Rogers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!



Rogers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lee sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Rogers wants to work for an arm triangle but Lee is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

I've got Rogers winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
