This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 2 losses; John Lee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 15 losses; Paul Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Lee takes the fight into the clinch.
Lee jumps guard and drags Hunt to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Hunt controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather.

Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunt swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hunt tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Lee is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at SSJ Gym, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Lee tries to lock up and control but Hunt gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Lee tries to improve his position but Hunt has taken his back! Hunt has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Lee tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Hunt pushes Lee away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
