Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azor Ahai (ranked 554 p4p, 275 weight class) and Larry Williams (ranked 79 p4p, 42 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 19 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Azor Ahai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Larry Williams! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ahai lands a nice leg kick that just misses Williams's sensitive parts. Azor Ahai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ahai swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Williams. Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Ahai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Williams sees it coming and avoids it easily. Nice uppercut lands for Williams. That snapped Ahai's head back.
Ahai throws a low kick, looking for Williams's leg but Williams calmly moves out of range. Ahai scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ahai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ahai lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Williams throws the left hand but Ahai avoids the punch easily. Ahai throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A punch combination from Ahai misses. Ahai swings away with a body shot that misses
and Williams counters with a nice uppercut.
Ahai is rocked! Williams throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ahai stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams lands a right hook to the body.

and Ahai counters with a stiff right hand. Williams goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Williams staying out of range there. Williams thows a left - swing and a miss! Ahai was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Ahai looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Williams misses with an uppercut. Ahai saw that one coming. Williams misses with a wild combination.
Ahai waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Williams. Williams takes one on the button. Ahai lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ahai misses with an uppercut. Williams throws a body shot but no joy. Williams tests Ahai's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams motions for Ahai to come forward. Williams throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ahai looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williams slips a straight right by Ahai. Williams misses with an uppercut. Ahai saw that one coming. Ahai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Williams moves away. Ahai lands a slapping body shot.
Ahai scoring well with a low kick there.
Ahai scores with a nice head shot. Ahai connects with a nice looking jab.
Ahai lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ahai throws a lazy head kick and Williams counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ahai thinking. Ahai takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ahai lunges at Williams with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Williams's hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ahai throws a big shot that misses. Ahai's corner calls for a 1-2. Ahai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Williams avoids the head kick by Ahai.
Williams rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ahai counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target. Ahai throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily. Williams rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Ahai counter with a right hand. Williams lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ahai throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Williams! But no joy. Williams cracks Ahai with a good jab.
It looks like Azor Ahai has been cut. Ahai lands an overhand right. Williams just misses with a punch to the body.
Williams lands a big uppercut and Ahai crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ahai looks OK. Williams waves Ahai back to his feet! Oh Ahai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Williams lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ahai up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Williams from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ahai's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Larry Williams! An out of breath Larry Williams thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
