Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between StandUp Perry (ranked 4812 p4p, 6026 weight class) and Roman Kos (ranked 498 p4p, 544 weight class). Roman Kos is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, StandUp Perry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Kos! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Illya Tyunina and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perry takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kos closes the distance and clinches. Kos's coach down at Brloh was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kos's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Perry breaks from the clinch.
Kos takes the fight into the clinch. Kos gets control of Perry's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Kos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perry can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Perry trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kos's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Perry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Perry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Perry wants to get up but he can't break Kos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Kos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Perry got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kos has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Perry has managed to get both his arms back between Kos's legs - danger averted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kos looking for a triangle here. Perry is fighting it but it looks tight! Kos pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Perry is tapping out - this one is all over!
