Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andre King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lubor Straka!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Straka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
King on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if King tries to get out of the position.

Straka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Straka.
King is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Straka not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Straka is looking to advance position but King won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King desperately trying to maintain half guard.
King's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Straka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
King wants to stand and escape but Straka is having none of it.

King manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Straka manages to get himself to full guard.

Straka has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Brloh. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Straka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Straka is thwarting King's attempts to control the position.
King tries to roll over but Straka keeps him under control.

Straka is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and King defends it well.
King trying to hold on to Straka's head to control him but Straka postures up.
King is looking to improve his position.
Straka thows a huge punch but King dodges it nicely.
King is looking for a sweep. Straka is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
King moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
King looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Straka wants to control from the top but King keeps moving.

Straka has gone for a leg lock! King slips out almost immediately though and dives into Straka's guard.

Straka can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as King controls the pace.
King makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Straka trying to keep a closed guard but King is proving a slippery customer.

Straka looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lubor Straka will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

King throws out a powerful jab.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Straka is defended easily by King.
Straka misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
King is looking for a counter combo.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from King.
Lubor Straka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
King scores with a head kick.

Straka is rocked!
Straka drops his hands momentarily. King doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Straka staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Straka doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andre King!
After winning the bout, Andre King thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
