Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TapnSnap Perry (ranked 4603 p4p, 4270 weight class) and Moe Moose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moe Moose has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, TapnSnap Perry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 13 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moe Moose!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moose shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Moose showed some decent athleticism there.

Perry looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Moose really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Perry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Perry actively working from the bottom here.
Moose passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Perry!
Perry tries to hold on but Moose postures up.
Moose looking to control and managing it successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perry wants to control but Moose is having none of it.
Perry is trying desperately to improve position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Moose working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Moose looks winded!
Perry reaches up and holds on to Moose to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perry tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Perry wants to hold on but Moose pushes him away.
Perry tries to reverse the position but Moose maintains control.

Moose controlling from the full mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Let's hope that Moose has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Perry slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Perry looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Perry is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moose's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moose's back!
Moose wants to get back to his feet.

Perry is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Moose has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Perry is looking to control Moose but Moose is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Perry is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Moose looking very determined here, making life difficult for Perry.

Perry is persistently looking for the submission but Moose is defending it well.
Moose can't escape the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Perry wants to control the position but Moose frees himself and scrambles - Perry manages to regain control in side control.

Perry wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moose, who protects the arm well.
Moose gets back to half guard.
Moose keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Perry stops Moose from getting back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Moe Moose will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Perry tries to pull guard but Moose holds him up against the cage and eventually Perry drops back down to his feet.

Perry tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TapnSnap Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Moose is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Perry is fighting off a takedown attempt but Moose is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Perry to the mat. Perry regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Perry is looking for a triangle but Moose pushes his legs off easily.

Perry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Moose is looking to advance position but Perry won't allow it.
Moose has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Moose is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Perry defends it well.

Moose decides to return to a standing position.

Moose closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perry did well to prevent Moose getting side control.
Moose seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Perry does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Moose looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Moose slips a nice elbow through Perry's hands, connecting with Perry's forehead.

Moose content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Moose throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Moose is taking a breather. Perry says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Perry trying to get back to full guard but Moose takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Perry sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Perry is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Moose pulls his head out easily.
Perry tries to roll over but Moose keeps him under control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Moe Moose showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Perry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Perry working for a triangle but Moose defends it easily.

Moose got a little sloppy there for a moment and Perry has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moose has managed to get both his arms back between Perry's legs - danger averted.
Moose missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Moose gets to his feet. Perry looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Moose clinches with his opponent.
Moose manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Perry jumps guard but Moose turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Moose drags the fight down to the ground.
Moose is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Moose has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perry can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Perry not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Perry has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Moe Moose comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Moose has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
