The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Steel pulls out of a head kick attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steel is trying to control the position from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Winger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Steel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Winger's guard.

Winger wants to sweep but no luck.

As Steel looks to move away, Winger throws a big counter combo but Steel just gets out of the way.

Steel lands a nice leg kick that just misses Winger's sensitive parts.

Winger walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Winger shoots for a double leg takedown but Steel sprawls well. He's pushed Winger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for #1 Winger. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Winger looks up at the clock. Bad move! Steel lands a right hand from hell, dropping Winger. Steel pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
