And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bunkechukwu Floyd!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Floyd lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Keone Kapisi has been cut.
Kapisi throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Floyd to counter with a crisp jab.
Kapisi lands the left hand.
That kick from Kapisi tenderised Floyd's leg. Floyd is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kapisi takes a swing at Floyd's ribcage but misses.
A little jabbing left from Floyd on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kapisi throws a poor cross that misses
and Floyd counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kapisi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Keone Kapisi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kapisi connects with an inside leg kick.
Kapisi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
OH! Kapisi has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Floyd smells blood and charges in for the finish! Floyd unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Kapisi sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bunkechukwu Floyd!
