Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Catara (ranked 3559 p4p, 3750 weight class) and Bobby Drake (ranked 481 p4p, 497 weight class). Catara's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Everlong. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dan Catara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Drake!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catara pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Catara gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Drake has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Catara doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Drake counters with a left to the body.
Drake lands a nice looking body shot.
Catara tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drake swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Drake tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Catara was well out of range. Poor timing from Drake.
Catara misses with a takedown
and Drake counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Catara takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Drake throws a combination. Catara tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Dan Catara has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Drake lands with a nice body punch.
Catara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drake tries to avoid it but Catara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drake to the ground. Drake escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Drake doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Catara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Catara takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Drake lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Catara at a distance.
Catara is breathing heavily.
Drake steps in with a hook that catches Catara right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Drake follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Catara looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby Drake!
