Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues comes to the cage accompanied by 50 cent - Get Up. Simpson has chosen Racionais - Negro Drama as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Caio Rodrigues has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Simpson stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Rodrigues follows into mount!
It looks like Homer Simpson has been cut.

Simpson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Simpson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rodrigues tries to avoid it but Simpson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rodrigues to the ground. Rodrigues escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rodrigues lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee asks Rodrigues politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rodrigues prefers to stall for the moment though.

Rodrigues throws a lazy right hand but Simpson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rodrigues rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Simpson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
