Gruzinsky shoots in for a double leg but Pretender sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gruzinsky shoots in but Pretender avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gruzinsky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pretender can pounce on him.
Pretender connects with a solid leg kick.
Pretender displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gruzinsky.

Pretender lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Roman Gruzinsky has been cut.
Gruzinsky walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Gruzinsky tries for a takedown but Pretender sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gruzinsky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Donk. Pretender catches Gruzinsky right on the button with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pretender Throws a clean left jab. Pretender Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Gruzinsky's chin! Gruzinsky crumbles to the ground and Pretender follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Pretender!
