Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Finnegan (ranked 3015 p4p, 1715 weight class) and Christ Benoit (ranked 411 p4p, 256 weight class). Finnegan's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Rogues - Gravel Walk. Benoit has chosen Amazing Grace as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Christ Benoit was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benoit misses with a body shot.
Finnegan scores with a jab. Benoit acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Finnegan misses the jab.
And Benoit responds with a good body kick, but Finnegan manages to step out the way in time.
Benoit avoids the body shot from Finnegan.

Benoit has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Finnegan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Benoit digs a right hand underneath Finnegan's ribcage. Finnegan let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Finnegan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Benoit gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Finnegan misses with a body punch.
Benoit lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Finnegan backwards.
A nice left hand lands by Benoit.

Benoit tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Finnegan takes an elbow to the forehead.
Benoit makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Finnegan tries to land a knee to the head but Benoit blocks with his arms.

Finnegan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Benoit pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Benoit lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Benoit creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Finnegan with a big uppercut! Finnegan tries to clinch up but Benoit pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Finnegan to the mat! Finnegan covers up and Benoit unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
