The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiotio takes a kick to the side of the head.
Rabbitte throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rabbitte is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Tiotio.

It looks like Paul Rabbitte has been cut.
Rabbitte has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rabbitte there as he acknowledges the shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tiotio. Rabbitte does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rabbitte throws a sloppy head kick
and Tiotio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rabbitte closes the distance and clinches up with Tiotio, looking for a takedown. Rabbitte pushes Tiotio against the cage but Tiotio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rabbitte takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Paul Rabbitte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tiotio lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rabbitte throws a leg kick that is checked

and Tiotio counters with a nice right hand that sends Rabbitte toppling to the canvas! Rabbitte scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tiotio finish him?!
