Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell has chosen It's Dark and Hell is hot as his entrance music. Chuck Liddell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a takedown attempt - Liddell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up with Liddell, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes Liddell against the cage but Liddell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liddell tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liddell to the ground. Liddell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

You get the feeling that Liddell really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth.
