Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kuzma (ranked 5432 p4p, 4902 weight class) and Bob Vendarra (ranked 601 p4p, 573 weight class). Kuzma comes to the cage accompanied by Tarararara. Vendarra has chosen Metallica - Of Wolf And Man as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Kyle Kuzma could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bob Vendarra's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Kuzma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 17 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bob Vendarra!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vendarra misses with a body kick.
Vendarra takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Vendarra is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vendarra slips a jab and a cross from Kuzma.
Kuzma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vendarra swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vendarra is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kuzma with a body shot.
Kuzma stalks Vendarra and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vendarra's face. Vendarra staggers backwards, shaken.
Vendarra slips a jab and a cross from Kuzma.
Vendarra tries to keep at a distance but Kuzma has taken the fight into the clinch.
Vendarra breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A shot to the body from Kuzma misses
enabling Vendarra to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Kyle Kuzma has been cut.
Vendarra throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kuzma throws a leg kick but Vendarra moved away.
Kuzma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Vendarra uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kuzma looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Vendarra swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kuzma tries to close the distance and clinch but Vendarra swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuzma doesn't manage to clinch there - Vendarra circles away.
Sloppy strikes from Kuzma. Those never looked like landing.
Kuzma looks to clinch
and Vendarra counters with a crisp right that sends Kuzma to the canvas! Vendarra follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bob Vendarra!
