Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miyamoto Musashi (ranked 3397 p4p, 3901 weight class) and Dosh Oh (ranked 330 p4p, 363 weight class). Dosh Oh has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Miyamoto Musashi's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miyamoto Musashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dosh Oh!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oh closes this distance looking for a takedown but Musashi circles away.

Oh shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Oh is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Let's hope that Oh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Oh.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Musashi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Oh closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Oh in particular looking to stall.

Musashi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Musashi tries to get out of the position.
Oh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Oh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Oh shoots in looking for a takedown but Musashi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looked like Musashi was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Musashi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oh throws out the jab.

It looks like Dosh Oh has been cut.
Oh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Musashi was well out of range. Poor timing from Oh.

Oh throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Musashi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Oh is in Musashi's guard.
Oh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Yet more stalling tactics from Oh.

Musashi wants to get back to his feet but Oh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Musashi is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Tran MMA Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Oh looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dosh Oh will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oh throws out a loose jab but Musashi uses good head movement to avoid it.

Musashi throws a big counter combination but Oh scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Musashi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Musashi throws a right and a left that Oh avoids nicely.

Oh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Musashi was covering up waiting for the punch and Oh finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Oh scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Oh controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oh stands and throws Musashi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee asks Oh politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Oh prefers to stall for the moment though.
Oh looks up at the clock and then as Musashi takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Oh smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Oh works to advance to full mount. Musashi defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Oh with shots to the head and body - Musashi looks very uncomfortable down there.
Oh looking to control and managing it successfully.

Musashi squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Oh tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Dosh Oh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Oh misses with a left hand
and Musashi counters with a one-two to the body.
Oh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Musashi feints a jab promting Oh to slip. Musashi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Oh slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Musashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oh moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Musashi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Oh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Musashi!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Oh is staying tight to Musashi's torso, preventing him from escaping.
More stalling from Oh.
Oh is continuing to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Oh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Oh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh throws a body shot but no joy.
Miyamoto Musashi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Musashi throws a series of punches but Oh moves out of range.
Oh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Oh with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
The adventures of Oh the control monster continue. Boring.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Oh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Musashi trying to remain calm as Oh controls from the top position.

And that's the end of the fight!
Miyamoto Musashi showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Oh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
