Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hole Reemer (ranked 5711 p4p, 5036 weight class) and Douglas Sampson (ranked 90 p4p, 64 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hole Reemer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Douglas Sampson! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sampson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Hole Reemer has been cut. Reemer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sampson was covering up waiting for the punch and Reemer finishes the takedown easily into guard. Reemer is looking to work some ground and pound but Sampson has wrist control. Reemer with a nice head shot there. Reemer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Reemer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sampson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Reemer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Reemer looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reemer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Reemer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Reemer scoring with punches to the head and body. Reemer stays in close to Sampson's body and controls the position. Reemer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Reemer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Reemer working some strikes from top position. Reemer sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sampson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reemer engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Sampson misses with a hook. Reemer ducked under it nicely. Reemer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Reemer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sampson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Reemer taking a breather here. Reemer scoring with punches and elbows. Sampson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reemer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Sloppy strikes there by Reemer. Reemer lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reemer throwing strikes but missing, from side control. An elbow from Reemer crashes against the mat.
Reemer in side control, throwing shots but Sampson defends. Sampson parries the strikes from Reemer easily there. Reemer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sampson to escape.
Reemer cracks Sampson with a big right hand but Sampson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Reemer looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Sampson is avoiding damage well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Reemer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sampson! Reemer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Reemer throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Reemer sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Reemer landing strikes from the mount and Sampson is in trouble! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hole Reemer dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hole Reemer's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Reemer shoots in and gets a takedown into Sampson's guard. Sampson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Reemer. Sampson being controlled here, momentarily. Further stalling from Reemer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reemer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Reemer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reemer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Reemer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Reemer takes a jab right on the kisser.

Hole Reemer's cut is getting worse. Reemer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Well, if Reemer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Reemer. Sampson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reemer. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sampson felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Sampson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reemer. Sampson tries to roll over but Reemer keeps him under control. Reemer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sampson can do to turn this around? The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sampson tries to get to full guard but Reemer has control of the leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reemer decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Reemer landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reemer is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Well, if Reemer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Reemer looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reemer with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Sampson keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hole Reemer dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Hole Reemer's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round! Sampson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Hole Reemer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sampson scores with a decent looking hook. Reemer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hole Reemer's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Reemer shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Reemer passes the guard and advances to mount! Reemer with the ground and pound from mount. Sampson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reemer with good strikes from the mount here! Reemer in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reemer with shots to the head and body - Sampson looks very uncomfortable down there. Sampson is in all sorts of trouble here.
Reemer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Reemer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Hole Reemer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Reemer loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sampson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Reemer land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Reemer stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hole Reemer!
