Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathaniel Jones (ranked 4734 p4p, 4689 weight class) and Moss Baart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moss Baart told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathaniel Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Moss Baart! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones stuffs the takedown. Baart shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily. A momentary lapse in concentration from Baart enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Baart manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jones trying to control but Baart is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Baart is on top in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones pulls Baart in close to his closed guard and prevents Baart from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is looking for a triangle but Baart pushes his legs off easily.
Baart stands up from guard. Let's bang! Baart fails to land the takedown. Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Nathaniel Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Moss Baart. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Baart looks for a takedown but Jones sprawls well. Baart tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jones blocks the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baart takes the fight into the clinch. Jones is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Baart is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Baart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jones looks to throw the jab but Baart is out of range. Jones tries to clinch there but Baart circles away.
Jones wants to clinch up but Baart keeps it at a distance. Baart throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baart circles away. Jones feints and as Baart raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a strike but Baart rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Baart stopping the sweep attempt from Jones. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Jones lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Baart keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Jones is standing up over Baart. Baart looks to escape but Jones dives into side control.
Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Baart to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Baart fails with the takedown. Baart shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Nathaniel Jones dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Baart throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown and Baart counters with a left and a right that stings Jones. Baart should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Baart shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Baart throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baart but Baart pushes him off and we're back to square one. Baart has closed the distance and engaged Jones in a clinch.

Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Baart was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard. Baart is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Jones is defending well against a takedown attempt. Baart is looking to take this one to the mat. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Baart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones. Baart is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Baart tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance. Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Jones tries to counter by clinching up but Baart breaks away and moves out of range. Baart tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. Jones checks a leg kick nicely. Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Baart sprawls well. Baart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Baart looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Baart persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Jones misses with a body shot.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Baart throws a lazy head kick and Jones counters by clinching up. Jones breaks the clinch.
Baart has a takedown stuffed. Jones darts in and clinches Baart up against the cage. Baart tries to circle away but Jones has him pinned against the cage. Baart fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones leaning against his opponent.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Moss Baart. I think Baart has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
