Nunes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Aerosmith - Rockin' The Joint kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Thiago Alves has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nunes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Nunes blocks a head kick by Alves.
Alves takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Alves thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nunes if he has to take too many more of those.
Nunes looks gassed!
Nunes misses with a double jab.
Alves lands with a thumping leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alves bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Alves lands with a nice body kick.
The fighters circle, before Alves throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Nunes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Alves lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
