Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Stanley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hector Bonilla! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonilla fails with a takedown attempt. Some wild striking there from Stanley.
Bonilla looks for a takedown but Stanley sprawls well. Stanley lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stanley looks to land a combination. Bonilla sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Bonilla changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stanley tries to avoid it but Bonilla manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stanley to the ground. Stanley escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. George Stanley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hector Bonilla. Bonilla looks gassed! Bonilla closes the distance and clinches up with Stanley, looking for a takedown. Bonilla pushes Stanley against the cage but Stanley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanley lands with a straight right. Bonilla didn't see that one coming. Hector Bonilla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A nice combination there by Stanley.
Bonilla walks into a stiff left hand from Stanley. Stanley closes the distance and lands a one-two. Bonilla throws a head kick that misses. Stanley throws a series of strikes that have Bonilla backpedaling.
Bonilla is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bonilla on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Donk. Stanley catches Bonilla right on the button with a cross. Stanley stalks Bonilla and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bonilla's face. Bonilla staggers backwards, shaken.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanley connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bonilla momentarily.
A punch lands to the side of Bonilla 's head but he takes it in his stride. Danga de danga de dang - Stanley scores with a four punch combination! Some wild striking there from Stanley.
Stanley catches Bonilla with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Stanley swats away the attempt to clinch by Bonilla. A jab from Stanley does it's job there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Stanley. That snapped Bonilla's head back.

Stanley lands a jab to the nose. Bonilla shoots for a double leg takedown but Stanley sprawls well. He's pushed Bonilla's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stanley lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Stanley moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Stanley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bonilla gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stanley.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stanley scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bonilla in his tracks. Stanley is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Bonilla looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stanley is fending him off so far but Bonilla persists. Nope, Stanley circles away and we're back to standing. Stanley throws a series of strikes that have Bonilla backpedaling.
Stanley smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Stanley misses with a two punch combination.
Stanley looks to land a combination. Bonilla sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Donk. Stanley catches Bonilla right on the button with a cross. Bonilla walks into a stiff left hand from Stanley. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Stanley dominated that round. That's time! Stanley's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Stanley clobbers Bonilla with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Stanley stuffs the takedown attempt from Bonilla. Bonilla gets slowly back to his feet. Stanley is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Bonilla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stanley as he avoids it easily. A nice combination there by Stanley.

George Stanley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stanley connects with a right hand. Bonilla shakes it off. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stanley connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bonilla. Bonilla circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bonilla misses with a takedown attempt - Stanley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bonilla is trying desperately to land a takedown but Stanley is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bonilla. Stanley stuffs the takedown. Jab, jab by Stanley - just one landing. Stanley tries to bum rush Bonilla with a series of wild strikes but Bonilla uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stanley misses with a series of wild punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanley fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Bonilla fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stanley is working the combinations to good effect here. Left hook, right uppercut from Stanley. Stanley lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stanley. Stanley scores with the left hand. Bonilla knows he should have avoided that one. Stanley throws a combination. Bonilla tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bonilla has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Decent striking displayed by Stanley there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good exchange - Stanley coming out on top. Stanley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bonilla. Stanley lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Stanley scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Donk. Stanley catches Bonilla right on the button with a cross. Stanley stuffs the takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stanley looks to land a combination. Bonilla sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Stanley thuds his right hand into Bonilla's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Stanley dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Stanley stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Stanley connects with a crisp jab. Stanley lands a jab-cross combination. Stanley lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Stanley throws a nice looking combination but Bonilla bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bonilla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stanley as he avoids it easily. Bonilla is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stanley. Stanley lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bonilla backs up against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bonilla takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Left hook, right uppercut from Stanley. Stanley works over Bonilla's head and body with a nice combination. A jab lands there for Stanley. Stanley throws a right and a left that both miss. Stanley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
George Stanley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stanley fails to land with a series of punches.
