Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Dismantle (ranked 1587 p4p, 1571 weight class) and Destin Craven (ranked 166 p4p, 165 weight class). Dismantle comes to the cage accompanied by Come As You Are. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mickey Dismantle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Destin Craven!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Francis DeMontford and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Craven is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dismantle.
Craven uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dismantle.
Craven throws a head kick that misses.
Some wild striking there from Dismantle.
Dismantle swings for the body but Craven moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Dismantle. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dismantle.

Dismantle throws an overhand right that lands on Craven's shoulder, as Craven tries to avoid the shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Craven throws a nice looking combination but Dismantle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Craven has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dismantle.

and Dismantle counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Dismantle enables Craven to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dismantle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dismantle went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Destin Craven will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Craven closes the distance and clinches up with Dismantle, looking for a takedown. Craven pushes Dismantle against the cage but Dismantle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Craven dives in for a single leg takedown but Dismantle sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Dismantle fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Dismantle drops Craven with a big left hand! Craven is injured, injured bad! Dismantle jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
