Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Wesley Zeidan (ranked 4977 p4p, 6379 weight class) and Hannibal Smith (ranked 525 p4p, 582 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wesley Zeidan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hannibal Smith!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith doesn't manage to clinch there - Zeidan circles away.
Zeidan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Smith.
Zeidan shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Smith's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Smith's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nice straight punches there by Smith. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Smith.

Smith looks low and kicks high, catching Zeidan right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Having scored a knockdown, Hannibal Smith should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wesley Zeidan.
I think Smith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
