Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Maurice Blow (ranked 6471 p4p, 4153 weight class) and Evan Saunders (ranked 591 p4p, 471 weight class). Blow comes into the arena with life goes on blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saunders scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Blow throws a hook but Saunders avoids it easily.
Saunders comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Saunders throws a quick inside leg kick.
Saunders swats away the attempt to clinch by Blow.
Saunders ducks under a wild hook from Blow.

Saunders forces Blow back against the ropes and clinches.
Saunders goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Blow is trying to break the clinch but Saunders is controlling him.
Saunders displaying some good clinch control by pressing Blow up against the ropes.
Saunders misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saunders is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Blow is defending well for now.

Saunders tries a body shot but Blow blocks it.
Saunders misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Saunders lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Blow backwards.
Saunders tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Blow's elbow.

Saunders manages to break the clinch.
Saunders connects with the punch.
Blow sizes up Saunders with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Evan Saunders has been cut.
Blow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Saunders moves away from the strike by Blow.
Saunders explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Blow blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saunders is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Blow is defending well for now.

Saunders breaks the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Blow lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Blow misses with an uppercut. Saunders saw that one coming.
Saunders throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Blow.
Saunders defending well as Blow loads up on a big left hand.
Saunders is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Saunders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Blow staggers Saunders with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Saunders looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

Saunders walks into a big right hand from Blow and goes down! The referee sends Blow to a neutral corner as Saunders gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.

Blow uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Saunders.
Saunders is still on wobbly legs! Can Blow finish him?
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Saunders throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Saunders seems to have recovered his senses.
Blow misses with a left hand
and Saunders finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Blow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Blow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Maurice Blow takes that one as he scored multiple knockdowns. Evan Saunders was lucky to get out of the first round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Saunders moves out of range as Blow strikes.
Blow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blow doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Blow tries to close the distance and clinch but Saunders swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Saunders scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Blow doesn't seem bothered though.
Saunders lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blow circles away quickly and effectively.
Saunders throws a lazy right hand but Blow sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Maurice Blow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Saunders misses the target.
Blow takes one to the side of the head.
Blow scores with a hook.

Blow drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Saunders onto his butt! Saunders pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Saunders moves out of range as Blow strikes.

Saunders misses with an uppercut.
Blow scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

A shot to the liver by Blow. Beautiful body shot.
We've been informed that Saunders has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Blow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Saunders ducks into a a hook from Blow and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!

Saunders drops his guard momentarily, allowing Blow to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Saunders! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Blow takes it!
