Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Steve Borsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Braden Moore!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borsky with a lazy takedown attempt
and Moore cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Steve Borsky has been cut.
Borsky tries to clinch up
and Moore counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Borsky tries to land a body kick
and Moore counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Moore.
Moore manages to break the clinch.
Borsky misses with a double jab.
Borsky tries to bum rush Moore with a series of wild strikes but Moore uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
And Moore tries to counter it with a takedown but Borsky pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Borsky with a poor takedown
and Moore moves into the clinch.
Moore lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Borsky.
Borsky is trying to push Moore away but Moore has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Moore.
Borsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Borsky could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Borsky misses with a few strikes there.
Moore has Borsky up against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moore is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Moore has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Borsky clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Borsky is doing well to defend. Moore seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Borsky is forced to tap and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Braden Moore!
