Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Fliphead (ranked 3116 p4p, 4677 weight class) and King Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonny Fliphead! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Gutierrez ! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fliphead manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gutierrez on his heels. He'll look to pass Gutierrez 's guard now, I'm sure. Fliphead gets to his feet - Gutierrez follows without any prompting. Gutierrez lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Gutierrez lands a jab. Gutierrez gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fliphead to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fliphead slips nicely into half guard. Fliphead content to control rather than advance. Gutierrez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fliphead. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fliphead lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fliphead looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Fliphead is pressing down on Gutierrez 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gutierrez is holding on for now. Gutierrez tries to roll over but Fliphead keeps him under control. Fliphead controlling the action here. Fliphead passes to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fliphead is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Gutierrez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fliphead throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gutierrez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Gutierrez thumps Fliphead with a low kick. Fliphead has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Jonny Fliphead has been cut. Gutierrez digs a good body shot into Fliphead's ribs. Fliphead is breathing heavily. Fliphead clinches with his opponent.
Gutierrez landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Gutierrez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fliphead.
Gutierrez is trying to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gutierrez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Oooooh!!! Gutierrez has knocked Fliphead down with a huge combo! Gutierrez steps away and waves a wobbly Fliphead back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fliphead is rocked! Gutierrez throws an uppercut from hell that sends Fliphead clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gutierrez stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). King Gutierrez ! During a confident post fight interview, King Gutierrez thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
